Earthing Materials

The most commonly used earthing material is galvanized iron or GI and copper.
Earthing is used to protect from an electric shock. It does this by providing a path for a fault current to flow to earth.
– Copper is the optimal choice of earth electrode material and underground conductor.
– In home: Earthing rod, wire, salt, charcoal are used for earthing.
